Make way for the unknown, Intervention, September 2010

To re-open 31 openings in an exhibition space during a two-month group exhibition.

The La Capella building dated back to the 13th century and had many changes over time to adapt to different uses. When it became an exhibition space, they sealed off all the openings. This project consisted of re-opening all of them to reverse the isolation of the space.

A publication reconstructs the history of the building through original documents, mixed with its unofficial history and the story generated through the testimonies of the different people involved in the exhibition (production, tutors, coordination, security, information, etc.). It also shows a series of photographs that record the effects of the sun inside the space during daylight hours.
